The Right Way to Measure for Your Knee Walker
Each knee walker manufacturer provides a height range for accepted use of their products. These height ranges are a general guideline, but don't account for all of the different leg & torso proportions that are out there. The best way to make sure that a knee walker model is a good fit, is to measure the distance from your knee to the floor.
To measure...
-
Make sure that you are able to safely balance yourself & bend your knee at a 90-degree angle. You might find it helpful to stand next to a wall or chair in case you feel unstable.
-
Have someone record the distance between the bottom your knee and the floor.
If your knee to floor measurement is between 18.75" and 21.75" you can use any one of our knee walker models. Of all units the Free Spirit Knee Walker is the most versatile, so if you are on the shorter or taller side of the spectrum, it's your best bet.
